How I Wash My Makeup Brushes
Just a quick video on how I wash my makeup brushes.
What I use:
Loreal Kids Extra Gentle 2 in 1 Shampoo
or Homemade Brush Cleanser (link below to the video I used to make mine)
Makeup brushes (of course!)
Wash cloth or any other towel
Water!
lol
-If you don’t have a brush cleanser, I would definitely suggest using a baby shampoo, just do NOT use a hand soap, it doesn’t work nearly as well! The shampoo I’m using is a baby shampoo that is 2 in 1, meaning it has conditioner in it as well, so that’s why I use this shampoo, because it at least has a conditioner in it as well.
Recipe from EnkoreMakeup for his homemade brush cleanser:
-Bowl
-Something to stir with
-1 cup distilled or purified water
-1/4 cup rubbing alcohol
-1/2 tablespoon dish soap
-1/2 tablespoon baby shampoo
-1 tablespoon leave-in conditioner (spray-on kind)
-Stir gently all together to mix and blend
-Pour the mixture into an empty bottle
(I do not take credit for this recipe whatsoever, the entire thing is credited to him.)

Thanks for the tip …
Thanks for the tip on L’Oreal Kids shampoo. I only use my MAC Brush Cleanser to spot clean ( can be a bit drying). I’ve used Palmolive and regular baby shampoo and my bristles were dry. I went to the little mini-mart here and although they didn’t carry L’Oreal they did have the Suave 2 in 1. Love it! My brushes dried a lot faster than usual (don’t know why) and they’re so much softer! They smell amazing as well. Thank you!
