does horse shampoo make hair grow faster?

posted on September 2, 2010 in make shampoo

i’ve heard that horse shampoo makes your hair go faster, is this true? and is it a noticeable difference?

horse shampoo generally makes your hair healthier,
& seems silkier and smoother.
when your hair’s dry and has split ends, the ends break off,
so it might seem your hairs not growing.

but basically horse shampoo fixes dead hair,
so your hair does grow more :)

  3. I’ve tried it and it seemed to work. However, the difference is slight. Tail and Mane (any shampoo isle) works the best, it’s about $8.00 a bottle.

  4. Not true..I tried it..just makes your hair soft..keeping the end trimmed, minimal heat, and professional products help keep your hair growing..

  5. i would think that it would make your hair more thick and shiny rather than make it grow faster.

there is a brand of horse shampoo that makes shampoo for humans. it’s called Mane N’ Tail. it is supposed to make it grow faster

try eating more protein to make it grow faster and stronger. ive even heard about some women who take prenatal vitamins to help with their hair.

  6. I would have to say yes. I’ve been using Mane’n'Tail for over five years now and my hair is more manageable, stronger, smoother and feels healthier all the time. I can’t stop using it because my hair is naturally curly and it will come out in knots if I use anything else.
The last thing I’ll say about it is that they never change the formula because it works. All the hair companies out there change it every few months to make it seem like they are improving it or to keep up with fads.

  7. I have heard of that. I used to use Mane and Tail to make my hair softer and silkier, and supposedly grow faster. But no, it doesn’t magically make your hair long.

  8. Okay, nothing but vitamins will make your hair grow faster. Protein will as well as other vitamins, so taking a supplement should help. This is pretty helpful:

Horse shampoo will make your hair more luscious and softer if your hair is more coarse, but real horse shampoo on already soft hair will damage it by thinning it too much.
