Well for one, your not really supposed to use baking soda on your hair, because it strips your hair of the natural oils it produces. And using baking soda and ACV w/ Lemon Juice, thats way too much! Thats just my opinion, however, I am sure that the baking soda does in fact, strip the oils it produces naturally.

  3. I have to tell you …
I have to tell you that this was so informative. I did use the vinegar and distilled water on my locs. Then followed up with a cool rinse. Fabulous!!!. My locs look so much better. But, I can’t find the video on the pomade you made. I’m looking for something without a smell or, very little smell. Why is it that people think you want your hair to smell? I don’t! I love your videos keep em’ coming please

I love the vinegar and distilled water rinse suggestion, and plan to do that the next time I wash my locs.My locs are 3 years old this August; and I agree that if I do the right thing while there are still young I will have better looking locs in the long run. Also, you have a great personality I really enjoyed watching. Thanks for the great tips.

What is the best brand of ACV should I use? Can I use lime instead of lemons for the rise mixture? I am from the Caribbean and limes are more accessible here. Hope to hear from u soon. Much Love!!!

I don’t have locs but I agree that shampooing too often strips your hair of moisture. In between shampoos I just use conditioner to cleanse my hair of products but maintain moisture. Great info!
