The best way to get rid of fleas is to see a vet and get medication from them.

Fleas are an environmental problem and a flea bath only gets rid of fleas on your dog at that moment and don’t get rid of the ones in the environment. While a medication from a vet will either kill the adult fleas everytime they feed off your dog or will make it so their eggs can not hatch.

Yesterday I bleached my hair it came out YELLOW! so now I’ve re-dyed it purple I still have the conditioner from the kit in but I was wondering what is the best homemade conditioner I can use?
Like mayo and eggs what else?

Mix 4 tablespoons of Olive Oil and 2 tablespoons of Honey. Pour this mixture into a ziploc type of bag (sandwich bag). Now, microwave a cup of water until hot. Pull the water cup out of the microwave. Put the oil/honey mixture into the cup and let it get very warm. Next, put the mixture into your hair. ALL of IT! Then, wrap your head with a plastic grocery bag or shower cap. If you use the grocery bag, use a clothespin to bring it closed around your head. Allow it to absorb into your hair for an hour. Then, wash your hair with your regular shampoo AND conditioner. Wash it. You won’t believe how soft your hair becomes. I use this recipe once a week or once a month. It is incredible! Nothing beats it!! Goodluck.

What drugstore shampoo does not test on animals?

I used to use Pantene and more recently Dove shampoo and conditioner and like the quality of both these products. But they test on animals! Yuck!

At this point I’m sure these big fat corporations have some idea how to make shampoo without the need to test it on animals. Consumers, afterall, having been using shampoo for quite sometime now.

Does anyone have any favorite drugstore hair products that don’t test on our furry friends?

Is it true that putting vodka in your shampoo can make your hair grow faster?

I heard somewhere that if you add a jigger of vodka to your shampoo it will stimulate your hair and make it grow faster (or help it grow at all in my case). Is this true? Will it make my hair fall out? Thanks so much.

I think it would just make your hair really shiny and make you smell like an alcoholic.

I need the a step by step procedure. Even though there is an existing product already, i still need the procedure and methodology.

Sorry, I only know how to make shampoo for cars manufactured in assembly plants. I don’t know how a homemade car would react to the same shampoo – I assume homemade cars have different material content than assembly-plant cars.

You might try Pep Boys or similar.

Here’s the recipe:
* 1/4 cup distilled water
* 1/4 cup liquid Castile Soap – try Lemon!
* 2 Tbsp dried rosemary
* 2 Tbps sweet almond oil
* 1/4 t lemon essential oil or fragrance oil

Boil distilled water, add rosemary and steep until fragrant.
Strain leaves and let cool. Mix all ingredients and add to water and stir well.
Store in a bottle. Use as you would any shampoo, rinse well.

Because of the small amount of ingredients, the mixture doesn’t come out to very much shampoo. I assume that you’re supposed to add it to water when you put it in a bottle. However, I’m not sure if that’s right. Please, somebody, help!!

From the recipe and proportions, I do not think that it is designed to be diluted any further (it already has some water added). This doesn’t stop you adding water, but as it will be more dilute, you may just find yourself using more to get the same effect!

What you can do though is simple make a larger batch by multiplying the quantities, (eg double, treble, quadruple etc) keeping the proportions of ingredients the same, in order to make as large a batch as you think you will need.

Put a little bit of milk sugar and honey on your face in the shower and scrub it off towards the end of your shower they’re natural exfoliates and plus it tastes really good.
